From Wellington it's the usual short climb up to the edge of the Ercall then fairly flat to the Donkey Field. From there we follow the undulating perimeter path along the north-west (Shrewsbury) side of the Wrekin passing the old Rifle Range, returning along the opposite south-east (Little Wenlock) side to the main gate, then back along the side of the Ercall and down into Wellington.
