Telford T50 50 mile trail launch on 16th June, was very successful . See their  Facebook page and website

The Bluebell walk on May 6th saw lots of bluebells . The route is here,  and there is a photo in the gallery.

The path maintenance team returned to the Wrekin Link on May 31st and in September , please use this path which is easily walkable again.

There are photos of recent path maintenance events  in this  gallery

Recent walks have visited  Ketley, Admaston, Dothill. The Ercall, Limekiln Wood and The Wrekin

The daffodil walk on 18th March went ahead. Six walkers braved the weather and saw a few flowers, but most of the flowers were under the snow.

The path maintenance on March 6th and the litter clearing on  March 8th were both worthwhile.  There are photos on the gallery.

As the snow had largely cleared we did have the planned 'hop' to Horsehay on March 4th.  One of our number kindly offered to try out some of the draft narrative for the planned Telford T50-50 mile Trail between Horshay and Newdale.  his comments were very helpful.

Malcolm led a walk in the Admaston area on February 18th

The path team were very busy on Feb 15th "

We had a good morning clearing a part of the old Shropshire Way route across the back of the old Orleton Lane school site into Woodlands Avenue where the paths were partially blocked by fallen bushes and branches. Again, most of the problems appear to be a result of the heavy snow pre-Christmas, and possibly the high winds. A couple of bags of litter were also collected, together with a dumped electric hedge trimmer, and a toaster !

Good snow drop walk on Feb 4th,  the route is here.

There are photos in the gallery.

The path team were busy on the Ercall on Feb 1st . See photos in the gallery.

The Wrekin Glen clean up, on January 26th, organised by the Telford Street Champions / Wellington Friends of the Shropshire Way  went very well.See the group's Facebook page.

Good walk on Jan 21st,  led by Pam. Yes, 6 people went despite the weather. The Steeraway diversion was very wet, more like a stream than a path. We were all well-equipped so this wasn't a problem. Here is the route https://connect.garmin.com/modern/activity/2450392168 .

We had our first walk of the year on Sunday January 7th when Naomi led a walk in Limekiln Woods.  The route is here
