A 9 mile linear walk from Newport to Telford as an introduction to the Slow Ways project. The recommended way to join this is to catch the bus 5 from Telford bus station at 10.23 to Newport bus interchange, then walk the short distance to the start, but feel free to devise you own arrangements .

The route to be followed is here, but we may divert slightly to offer views from Lilleshall monument and the "top of the world" if that is requested. This is slightly more scenic than Telnew 1 , and we hope that at least 3 people on the walk will submit a review to verify the route.
