About The Event
Ecologist Chris Hogarth leads a walk around the fascinating habitats of Ketley where industrial landscapes forged in Withering’s lifetime have now been reclaimed by nature. The William Withering theme will be brought out by looking for examples of the different plant families. Withering's connection to the Lunar Society and links to the scientific and industrial breakthroughs of the time will also be alluded to.
