This all day event will introduce walkers to some simple techniques to take the stress out of navigating with a map.

In the morning we will work on navigation theory, and practise some of the techniques in and around Wellington Library.

After lunch we will put the theory into practice by using our navigation skills on a walk up into Limekiln Woods.

During the day the use of mapping apps and GPS will be introduced.
